Writing a Better Future

Life is speeding by and there are a lot of stories in the news about the world’s economies nearing-failure, and the dramatic and unusual weather events. (If we give the news too much attention, it feels like sinking into quicksand.) No matter the events of the future, it does not help to fear the coming days and years–we live only in this moment, not in the  future. And there is something we each can do to help ground ourselves in Love—not fear—and that is to be kind to everyone we see and communicate with. I like to think that we’re writing a better future by practicing kindness.

It serves no purpose to fear physical death, either, for our souls–our God Sparks– live on. We cannot, however, escape physical death, for when it is our time to go, it is time. We can choose to travel life’s roads in a fearful, out-of-control manner or gracefully, until those moments we take our last breaths.

There is so much we don’t know and most of us generally are not angels. Let’s give up judging others and sweating the small stuff. Let’s do remember the focus that will carry us through all the troubles of this world: Love. Love lives in our spiritual hearts through our physical hearts and it is our job to make them glow. 🙂

  1. Well said, or should I say, written. We need more love inspired words to allow more kindness toward one another in our everyday living.

    Kindest regards,

    • Hi Michael, Thank you for stopping by. I really appreciate it.
When the idea for the blog came to me, it seemed to be centered around kindness. I couldn’t agree with youy more; kindness is something we can all practice.
