This weekend, July 17-18, 2010, people from around the world–north, south, east and west–will gather for Conscious Convergence events intended to establish the foundation for creating a new way of living in unity with each other and our world.
Says Carl Johann Calleman, an expert on Mayan calendars and the co-creator of the event, “The Conscious Convergence mission is to bring people together with the shared intention of cultivating a critical mass of harmonious energy that supports inner and outer reconciliation. We come together in the spirit of unity to heal wounds that separate us, to reconcile conflicts that divide us, to inspire ideas and actions that express our oneness, and to join together in heart and mind to welcome the birth of our new world.”
The Shared Intention Agreement will be stated at all event locations:
I, as a sovereign being, join together with All That Is to call forth the presence of balance and unity within me and in our world. I am the conscious presence of harmony and reconciliation and I am grateful for the wholeness I bring forth in this and every moment. And so it is.
While there is no denying the world is facing a growing number of chaotic events, Calleman says: “Ancient prophecies do not speak of an end to the world, rather speak of a descent of cosmic forces or a wave of unity consciousness that brings about completion, or fulfillment of evolutionary forces that have been going on since the beginning of time, and have led to the world we see today.”
In a YouTube Video, Calleman advises we ask the Divine, ‘What is my part in the worldwide movement toward unity consciousness?’ We should not ask for what we as individuals want, but what we can do and how to live (and to change the way we live, if necessary) to be a part of creating the collective intention for worldwide unity and peace. The more of us who participate in sincere, conscious commitment and change, the more others in the world will join in. Try to listen for the true answers, Calleman advises, because we each have a part in the plan. Ask to unite our personal intentions with those of the Divine.
The organizers plan a global webcast and are coordinating activities with various communities planning unique celebrations and events. The clearinghouse for all of these events is available at Common Passion.
A Forgiveness Prayer that includes all peoples and addresses the wounds of our collective past is available here.
Let’s each awaken to our role in healing the past, in uniting with each other, and in moving forward together into the harmonious times we have long prayed for.
P.S.–I received two synchronous emails today, one from Sven Eberlien at A World of Words, in which he interviews Sandra Ingerman, author of How to Thrive in Changing Times, and other insightful books. Sven’s heart and mind are linked in the soul and caring for each other and the environment. Talk about a post on unity!
The second was about a young woman named Cheryl Honey, who established the Family Support Network, International, and is sharing the need of families impacted by the BP Gulf Coast oil spill.
Today is a good day to become a member of the global family.
