Last night, I came across a website that talked about the June planetary energies bombarding the Earth and us humans, through all six (including intuition) of our senses. The writer predicted a month of intense vibrations, and a difficult period of facing multiple problems, through which we may be faced with the decision to give up the matters we can’t control to the Higher Power (God, Christ, the Universe, the Divine Feminine, however we see God).
She also writes that we may be asked to step into our personal power and make decisions to improve the quality of our lives. This is a tough one for a lot of us, but when it’s time, it’s time. If faced with a situation that’s not good for us that we can change, why not decide we deserve better? Why not move in an upward direction?
I’ve known the giving-it-up-to-God decision as, ‘Let go and let God,’ or ‘God’s will be done.’ Alcoholics Anonymous teaches The Serenity Prayer to its members:
God, grant me the serenity
To accept the things I cannot change;
Courage to change the things I can;
And wisdom to know the difference.
This prayer manages to wrap up a blessed way of navigating life into just 25 words. It is a wisdom-prayer that brings our angels to us, who await our requests for help. To read the complete article about June, click Spirit Library.
Even better, soak up some love and wisdom at Sending Joy. Here is a paragraph from Sharie’s post today, in which she writes that fear is always an illusion:
“We cannot allow ourselves to take our fears seriously. When we do we get very distracted and caught up in what isn’t real and we miss our miracles. So let’s smile through the pain; let’s love ourselves in spite of it. Absolutely, we mustn’t fight it or suppress it. When we try to hide from it, we give it greater power. Let’s say to ourselves very strongly, “I don’t care how it feels or looks, I know it isn’t real.” The reason we know it isn’t real is because we are not at peace. Only God is real and God gives only peace.”
I’m starting to practice, “I don’t care how it feels or looks, I know it isn’t real,” this very moment. In fact, let’s hold virtual hands and say it together: I DON’T CARE HOW IT FEELS OR LOOKS, I KNOW IT ISN’T REAL. Thanks, Sharie! I feel better. How about you?
